The CRC is keen to hear your views on issues such as:

  • Should the British Monarch continue to be our Head of State
  • Should elections be held on fixed dates or decided every five years by the Prime Minister
  • Should elections be held on a “ first past the post” or Proportional representation basis
  • Should the Prime Minister be elected by his peers elected to Parliament or should he be elected by
    the voting public
  • Should we continue to allow floor –crossing in Parliament
  • Should we have the right to recall parliamentarians between elections
  • How best to preserve the rights and freedoms of our citizens
  • How best to maintain the independence of the judiciary

The consultations are part of a process which will influence our nation for decades to come. We should therefore be grateful for your kind assistance in facilitating this exercise by informing your friends and family of this matter.

Documentation, including the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Constitution and the Constitutional Review Information booklet, may be downloaded from the CRC’s website http://www.crc.vc

If you know of anyone who may wish to receive direct mail from the High Commission please forward their details to us.
